The search for renters

So at this point we have had several people come see the house. They have all been nice but this is our home. We love it so much that I have a hard time handing it over to just anyone, wonderful as they may be. A family came by today and we would love it if they want to rent the house. They have 2 kids and 1 on the way and would appreciate the house, the yard, and the neighborhood. They would also make great neighbors for our current wonderful neighbors. If not them I'm sure the right renters will come along.
Until then we keep packing, cleaning, and showing the house.

Our home

This isn't just any house. We have put many hours, months, and years, as well as blood, sweat, and tears, into restoring this home to its original beauty. This has been our home. When we moved in there was shag carpet from the '70s, office tile ceiling, and wood paneling throughout the home. We found out as we began working on it that it needed structural updating as well. They had put in a false ceiling taking away the openness created by the original high ceilings. We wondered what we had done. It took a lot of work and we lost some of our sanity along the way. :) We love this house. Unfortunately our current situation requires us to leave our beautiful home.
I give this background info so you can understand that this isn't just any house, it has been lived in and loved. We aren't a business, or an investor. This has been our home.
